Troy Halliburton
The Halliburton Surveying & Mapping, Inc. founding member, Troy Halliburton, serves as the company's Principal Land Surveyor. Troy received his Bachelor of Science degree in Land Surveying and Mapping Science from East Tennessee State University. He has 25 years of diverse surveying experience throughout the Southeast on hundreds of projects. He is currently licensed in Alabama and Tennessee.
Troy has previously served multiple terms as Secretary/Treasurer and served on its Executive Board for Alabama Society of Professional Land Surveyors. He has also presented Professional Development Hours and Continuing Education course on a variety of topics, including Land Surveying, 3D Laser Scanning, and Deformation Monitoring.
Rusty Blackwell
With roots in Central Alabama, Rusty moved to Huntsville in 2013 and established a good reputation as a professional who is not afraid to get involved at both a local and state level. From 2017 to 2020, Rusty served as president of the Alabama Society of Professional Land Surveyors. In 2020, he was appointed by Governor Kay Ivey to serve as the Professional Land Surveyor representative to Alabama Underground Damage Prevention Authority. At HSM, Rusty has adds value by championing the implementation of standards and procedures learned at large multi-disciplined firms. Rusty continues to impress by bringing HSM new business opportunities that push it to further innovate technologies and grow personnel.

About us
We are a small business headquartered in Downtown Huntsville, Alabama. With decades of experience, our team is equipped to take on challenging projects in multiple sectors, including but not limited to, federal, state, municipal, industrial, commercial and residential services. Our staff consists of four professionally licensed land surveyors and three FAA Part 107 UAS pilots. We are licensed to perform land surveying services in Alabama, Mississippi and Tennessee.
Safety is our number 1 priority. Our onsite team has multiple members who are OSHA30 certified, OSHA10 certified, CPR/AED certified, TVTC Basic certified, UXO trained and MSHA certified. In fact, we have been a recipient of Associated Builders & Contractors (ABC) STEP Award for three straight years.
